On December 24, 2008, the Grochowski twins, Maximilian and Nathaniel, were born.
Tragically, after just 16 months, Maximilian “Max” J. Grochowski died unexpectedly on April 29, 2010.
Many of our friends, family, and co-workers have asked us the same question: “What can we do to help?” Hundreds of people have already graciously offered their thoughts, prayers, and gifts. But as a means to honor Max and provide our friends, family, and co-workers who wish to offer additional support, we have decided to establish the Maximilian J. Grochowski Memorial Fund.
The initial intent of the fund is to provide donations in Max’s name – donations that we believe are appropriate ways to honor his life. Our goal is to support various children’s organizations, mothers of multiples, and most importantly, education. Depending on the amount of money raised, and how successful this effort is, we also hope to provide educational scholarships on behalf of the Maximilian J. Grochowski Memorial Fund.
This is just the beginning. As we learn more, and if we are successful in our endeavors with the Maximilian J. Grochowski Memorial Fund, we will seek to expand the ways to provide donations in Max’s name. We would be honored if you would consider donating in remembrance of Max.
